Open house

RUTLAND — In recognition of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (Nov. 16-22), Rutland Neighbors invites the community to its open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at 60 Strongs Ave., Rutland. Tour its day center where staff and volunteers feed, clothe, counsel and support those in need. Enjoy a free hot dog lunch and other treats. Donations of socks, gloves, new underwear, belts and blankets are welcome.

Formerly known as Companions in Wholeness, Rutland Neighbors gives support to those facing hunger, homelessness, and poverty here in Rutland.
