In a world where some college football players’ salaries are now in the millions and recruits are now routinely paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to consider one school over another, Michigan State’s football program is being punished by the NCAA for spending a few thousand on a few recruits.
And among those NCAA punishments announced Wednesday: Vacating all of MSU’s wins from three losing seasons, including the 2023 opener against Central Michigan. Yep, that game against Central Michigan.
