IAS officer’s suspension revoked post Supreme Court’s decision

Ranchi (13.11.2025): The Jharkhand government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren has revoked the suspension of Chhavi Ranjan (IAS: 2011: JH) after the latter secured bail in the Ranchi land scam case . The state government has issued the notification in this regard. Directorate of Enforcement , which investigated the case, had arrested Ranjan on May 4, 2023. He had come out of jail after the Supreme Court allowed him bail in the case on October 10.
