FREEMAN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -This is the last year of the Freeman-Marion-Freeman Academy co-op and this team is on a mission in Class 9-AA.

It’s been their goal to make it to the Dakotadome all season, trying to add another big trophy to all those championships won by the Freeman Flyers.

The Phoenix have been the most dominant team in 9-AA all season, and head coach Dustin Tschetter says there’s a big reason why.

Dustin Tschetter, Freeman-Marion-FA Football Coach says, “Competitive. They’re all trying to beat each other. They’re not trying to hurt anybody but they’re all just trying to be the best. Each day they are competing with each other and pushing each other to be better and that’s all they do. That’s what they want and they have high goals for themselves.”
