A 28-year-old Pennsylvania woman was charged with more than 50 offenses this week after police said she caused multiple crashes, with her hood blocking the windshield, while driving under the influence.
Around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, Pennsylvania State Police in Frackville, Schuylkill County, were notified of a Ford Focus on Interstate 81 driving erratically with its hood unsecured and blocking the windshield.
The driver of the Ford Focus was later identified as Jamie M. Fowler, who does not have a fixed address.
Less than 10 minutes later, troopers were dispatched to a crash near Skyline Drive (State Route 61) and East Darkwater Lane in New Castle Township.
