Blake Lively notched another legal victory this week in her ongoing dispute with Justin Baldoni and parties connected to his production company. A defamation lawsuit filed against her in February by the public relations firm Street Relations Inc. and its owner, Jed Wallace, has been dismissed in Texas.
The case was thrown out on the grounds of insufficient personal jurisdiction, with the court determining that Texas was not the proper venue to hear the complaint. The lawsuit stemmed from Lively’s earlier legal filing related to the production of her film It Ends with Us.
