GWINN — The Jeffers Jets volleyball team advanced to the Division 3 Region 17 final thanks to a sweep of the Manistique Emeralds Tuesday in Gwinn. The Jets took the match, 25-13, 25-20, and 25-19.

Mia Nordstrom led the team with 16 kills. Elizabeth Halonen chipped in with 15 assists.

With the win, the Jets will face Traverse City St. Francis Thursday night in Newberry with opening serve set for 6 p.m.
