Even three days after the Red Fort car blast that killed 13 people and injured several others, Delhi Police on Thursday recovered a severed forearm from the roof of a store in New Lajpat Rai Market, which is around 300 meters from the blast site.
The recovered hand has been sent for forensic examination, while police continue searching for other missing victims.
According to the investigators, high-grade explosives were used in the blast near Delhi’s Red Fort. Officials from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) said that one of the explosive samples collected from the site is believed to be more powerful than ammonium nitrate.
