24 townhomes eyed for vacant land across from Willow Oaks Country Club

A vacant patch of land in Forest Hill is being eyed for some residential density.

Plans were filed with the city in recent days to develop a 24-unit townhome project at 6101-6117 Forest Hill Ave., a 1-acre grassy area near the Forest Hill Avenue exit off the Powhite Parkway, across from Willow Oaks Country Club.

The property is owned by Aramin Real Estate LLC, an entity tied to Richmonder Ihab Aramin, who could not be reached by press time.

Aramin recently submitted a special-use permit application for the development, which would consist of a dozen attached duplexes. City records show Aramin bought the land in 2023 for $164,000. It is zoned for single-family residential use.
