PASCO, Wash. – Some residents in Pasco may soon receive a letter from the City of Pasco regarding the materials of their water lines.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) mandates that cities notify homeowners if the material of their water line is listed as “unknown.”
In Pasco, the city said public works crews have already inspected about 75% of the homes, and all pipes checked so far have been made of safe materials, not lead.
Updates will continue to be sent annually until every home is confirmed, the city added.
