LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — The Lafayette Noon Optimist Club is gearing up for its annual Christmas tree sales, which begin on Saturday, November 22.

Proceeds from the sales will benefit several local programs aimed at supporting area youth. Programs supported include the Wonderland Education Scholarship Fund, the Lafayette Urban Ministry Burn Camp, the Columbian Park Zoo Teen Program, NICHES Adventure Camp, and the Grow Local Community Garden Program.

Michael Bucy of the Noon Optimist Club shared three reasons to consider their trees over those from major retailers. "The number one, our trees are just better. They really are.
