Rishabh Pant is all set for his India comeback after recovering from a painful toe injury that brought a premature end to his England tour earlier this year. Pant was in red-hot form during the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, hitting twin centuries in a Test before he copped a blow to his toe while batting in Manchester that pushed him to the sidelines for several months.

Despite a toe fracture, Pant won hearts when he walked out to bat in India’s first innings in the 4th Test at Old Trafford and scored a half-century to play a vital role in the contest eventually ending in a draw.

Having made a successful return to competitive cricket recently, Pant says “he’s feeling lot of gratitude for life" after another comeback from injury.
