NEW DELHI: Bihar is a state where high voter turnout has consistently acted as a catalyst for changes in governance, and this year’s strong participation of voters may not necessarily be a source of comfort for the NDA, nor a greater shock for the Opposition, than what both sides, the ruling alliance and the Opposition, appear to be claiming based on exit poll predictions.

With just a few hours remaining before the counting begins on Friday, the fate of candidates who contested across the state on tickets from various parties will be revealed. Despite exit polls heavily projecting results in favour of the NDA, Bihar appears to be caught in uncertainty.
