Odisha will soon operate under a single revenue law, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari announced after a review meeting in Puri.

He confirmed that the government has already begun preparations for the new framework.

The minister explained that several complicated revenue laws currently exist, many of which are no longer necessary. He stated that the government is studying the matter and working on a simplified approach.

Pujari revealed that the upcoming Odisha Government Land Management Act will consolidate existing provisions. He emphasised that the new law will be time‑appropriate and easy for citizens to understand.
