COVINGTON, Ky. (WXIX) - A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a stabbing at a Covington convenience store, police say.
It happened inside Bob’s Food Mart at Alexandria and Madison avenues just after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim ran off but was found nearby on Indiana Avenue, suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen, police say.
He was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The suspect, Isaac Boozer, 42, is under arrest on a felonious assault charge and held without bond at the Kenton County jail, jail records show.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance in the case at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the court docket.
Police have not released a motive in the attack, but said early Thursday that the two men know each other.
