One Australian is $50 million richer after scooping Powerball ’s entire division one prize.

The sole winning ticket for Thursday night’s draw was purchased in WA , and is the state’s biggest Powerball prize in more than three years.

“WA hasn’t seen a division one win this big since a group of 18 workmates shared a $53 million Powerball prize in October 2022,” Lotterywest acting chief executive Lorna Pritchard said.

“It’s wonderful to be celebrating WA’s fourth Powerball win of the year, which will no doubt be a life-changing moment for tonight’s winner.”

The magic numbers for draw #1539 are 22, 10, 6, 15, 2, 8 and 7. The Powerball is 13.

There were six winners in division two, with each taking home more than $160,000.

In division three, 93 winners scored close to $13,000 each.
