BENGALURU: The Bannnerghatta police have arrested a Nigerian national, who was staying illegally in the country, and handed her over to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) authorities for deportation.

The woman, who was living in Begihalli village under the Bannerghatta police station limits, had overstayed her visa and her passport had expired. The police tracked her down and took her into custody.

The police later handed her over to the Immigration authorities for deportation of the woman who will now be sent back to Nigeria.
