FAYETTEVILLE -- The total offense and scoring numbers for the Arkansas Razorbacks do not reflect what would be expected from a 2-7 team.
The Razorbacks are eighth nationally in total offense with 484.4 yards per game under interim Coach Bobby Petrino heading into Saturday's 11:45 a.m. Central game at LSU.
Arkansas is also 21st in the nation in scoring with 35.4 points per game, and that's with the aid of just one non-offensive touchdown.
Yet the Razorbacks -- despite the presence of explosive fifth-year senior quarterback Taylen Green, tailback Mike Washington Jr. and a strong offensive front driving a rushing attack that churns for 208.8 yards per game to rank 17th in the country -- have come up short over and over.
Whether that's been due to second-half lulls, late turnovers or a ras
