In a surprising casting move, veteran actor Raveena Tandon has been cast as Heeraben Modi, the mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi , in the upcoming multilingual biopic Maa Vande . The film was announced on Modi's birthday on September 17 and is being directed by Kranthi Kumar Ch. It will be produced by Silver Cast Creations under producer Veer Reddy. Actor Unni Mukundan will portray PM Modi.
