Planned Kirk statue deserves criticism

The guest column by Kathleen Coty regarding New College of Florida's proposed statue of the late Charlie Kirk could not have been more spot on (" Charlie Kirk's legacy doesn't deserve statue on New College of Florida campus ," Nov. 11).

I had never heard of Kirk before his tragic assassination, so I made it my business to listen to many of his so-called " give and take " student educational sessions.

I found them to be confrontational and condescending – and in no way conversational or educational.

He never once proved himself "right." Only rude.
