Patron Saint feels like one of those rare places that understands the rhythm of a city day — the way it starts slow and quiet, builds toward the afternoon, and winds down with conversation and a drink as the lights come on outside.

I have our Alex Darus to thank (or blame) for wanting to linger there more than one should.

Nestled along Detroit Avenue in Ohio City, the Italian-inspired café and aperitivo bar manages to be both refined and inviting, a place that feels equally right for a morning espresso or an evening amaro.
