The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the successful conduct of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, recording a 67.13% voter turnout, the highest since 1951.

The Commission confirmed that officials will begin counting on November 14, 2025, with extensive arrangements already in place.

Key Highlights

Zero Repolls: None of the 2,616 candidates or 12 recognised political parties requested repolls.

Zero Appeals: With 7.45 crore electors in the final roll, no political party filed appeals during the Summary Revision (SIR) across Bihar’s 38 districts .

Counting Arrangements

Officials will conduct counting in 243 Assembly Constituencies .

243 Returning Officers (ROs) and 243 Counting Observers will oversee the process.

Staff will operate 4,372 counting tables ,
