CHARLES TOWN — Voices Against Domestic Violence worked together with the West Virginia Grant Resource Centers to host a Grants 101 Workshop on Friday, Nov. 7 to teach local nonprofits and community leaders more about resources they can use. They gathered at the Fishermen’s Hall in Charles Town where the WVGRC Director Priscila Santos and her team led the workshop, teaching participants the basics of grants.

VADV President and Founder Patricia Greenley reached out to Santos and her team to organize the workshop. They travel across the state to give training and teach people about grant writing. She said that Grants 101 Workshop is one of their most popular programs as it helps nonprofits across the state get the funds they need to bring their ideas to life and help improve their communitie
