ATLANTA — The mother of Albany State volleyball player Mari Creighton has been awarded $66 million by a judge in her lawsuit against the now-shuttered Elleven45 lounge and its operator over the 2024 shooting at the venue that killed her daughter and one other person.

The judgment was delivered in an October 28 order by Fulton County State Court Judge Fredy Eady. It assigned $5.625 million for the "pre-death pain and suffering" of Creighton and an additional $60.95 million for the wrongful death claim of the 21-year-old.
