“ Monarch: Legacy of Monsters ” has set its Season 2 premiere date at Apple TV .

The second season of the Legendary Monsterverse series will debut on Feb. 27, 2026, with new episodes dropping weekly thereafter until May 1. Apple has also released the first teaser for the new season, which reveals King Kong ‘s Skull Island will play a big part in Season 2.

It was previously revealed that Kurt Russell will return for Season 2 in the role of the Lee Shaw, while his son Wyatt Russell will once again play the younger version of the character. The returning cast also includes Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett and Anders Holm.
