GLENDALE, Ariz. — A pedestrian who was seriously hurt after a crash in Phoenix on Thursday morning has died, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

DPS said the vehicle-pedestrian crash occurred at 5:15 a.m. along the 35th Avenue on-ramp of the Loop 101.

The pedestrian was reportedly taken to a hospital with serious injuries and later died.

DPS said the pedestrian has been identified as 64-year-old Vicente Castellanos Rodriguez of Tolleson.
