Fall weather in Seattle is picking up as we get through the bulk of November. With cold winter weather on the horizon, how much snow will be seen in Washington?

Meteorologist Scott Sistek of the Emerald City Weather blog revealed the mid-term weather forecast for the rest of November in Seattle, and how the wet, cooler-than-average temperatures will be beneficial for Washington’s mountains on “ Seattle’s Morning News ” on KIRO Newsradio.

“Average amounts of precipitation, but it’s cooler than normal. That’s good news for the mountains, good for the snow pack, and skiers. Good for getting our ski season off on the right foot,” Sistek said. “For skiers, there’s some optimism here. We’re looking at higher than average odds of getting a pretty good start to the ski season.”
