GROVE CITY, Pa. - Keystone Safari is celebrating another new arrival: a giant anteater pup, born Oct. 19 to first-time parents Helga and Hugo, the park announced.
The birth marks the first for the giant anteater pair at the interactive zoo and adventure park, located in Grove City.
Park officials said the gender of the newborn is currently undetermined, as staff is limiting interaction to allow the mother and baby essential bonding time. Helga, the mother, holds a special place at the park, having been hand-reared at Keystone Safari.
“Seeing her thrive as a first-time mom is truly special for our team,” a park statement read.
