HEBRON, Ky. (WXIX) - Thirteen flights have been canceled coming to and from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on Thursday despite the federal government reopening.
On Wednesday night, Congress and President Donald Trump signed a bill to reopen the government after 43 days, making it the longest government shutdown in American history.
While lawmakers, TSA and air traffic controllers return to work (or continue working), the Federal Aviation Administration is still requiring airlines to reduce flights across 40 airports in the U.S., including CVG.
The silver lining is that the reduction rate will remain at 6% rather than increasing to 10% by the end of the week had the government not reopened.
Here are the flights that have been canceled at CVG on Thursday as of 8:50
