Changes to the Schedule
Major League Soccer's owners reportedly voted on changes to move the league's schedule as well as alter how the league standings will be formatted.
The biggest change, which has been long talked about in league circles, changes the start and ends of the season. Currently, the MLS season runs from February through early December, with the MLS Cup final.
The new proposal will see the year start in July or August, with the playoffs to be contested in May.
