Punjab continues relief under Mission Chardi Kala phase-3; over Rs 6 crore disbursed on day three

Compensation reaches flood-hit families across districts; aid includes houses, crops, and livestock support

Chandigarh, November 13, 2025:

On the third consecutive day of the third phase of Mission Chardi Kala, the Punjab Government continued relief distribution to flood-affected families, with compensation disbursed in excess of Rs 6 crore across the state.

At a special event in Lehragaga, Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal handed over compensation sanction letters worth Rs 1.02 crore to 280 residents affected by heavy rainfall and flood-like conditions, reaffirming the government’s commitment to stand with every citizen impacted by natural calamities.
