A recent Mzuzu University graduate, identified as Liness Honde, has been found dead in her room in Mzuzu.

Honde, originally from Mzimba, graduated from Mzuzu University on May 16, 2025, with a Bachelor of Education in Science.

The cause of her death is yet to be established. She was discovered lifeless on Thursday morning, and police have since launched investigations into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Until her passing, Liness was a teacher at Success Private School in Mzuzu.
