Staff at a popular Indian restaurant in Glasgow have been left "devastated" after two thieves ransacked their venue overnight.

Obsession of India on High Street, in the Trongate area, was targeted last Friday (November 7) at around 3.16am. Two intruders forced their way into the family-run restaurant through the side shutter and fire exit door before swiping cash from the till and tip jar and stealing alcohol from the bar.

During their efforts the unit's internal communication system was damaged, which staff say is "essential" for running the business.
