One year after the fatal explosion at the Givaudan Sense Colour factory in Louisville's Clifton neighborhood, the family of one the victims is suing more than 10 companies in connection with the accident.

According to records filed in the Jefferson Circuit Court Nov. 12, the parents of Austin Jaggers, along with the mother of his child, Madison Gadlage, are suing various production and marketing companies for economic and emotional damages after they claim the companies knew about the defect in the pressure cooker that caused the explosion and were negligent in warning buyers and operators about the potential dangers.
