A routine honk at a traffic signal in Bengaluru escalated into a shocking act of road rage when a techie intentionally rammed his car into a scooter, injuring three people. The incident, captured on CCTV, has led to the arrest of the software engineer on charges of 'attempt to murder'.

Honking Sparks Altercation

The incident occurred on October 26 near Ramaiah College in north Bengaluru. Police said the confrontation began when the victim honked at the accused identified as Sukruth Keshav for blocking a free left.

Angered by the horn, Sukruth allegedly chased the scooter and rammed his Tata Curvv into it.

Initially, the case was filed as a hit-and-run by the traffic police. But inconsistencies in the accused’s statements raised suspicion, prompting a deeper probe.
