An atmospheric river storm brought heavy rain and strong winds throughout the Bay Area and Monterey Bay on Thursday, leaving behind flooded road and downed trees in communities across the region.
Much of the rain fell over the region during the overnight hours and into the morning commute. The National Weather Service said there were reports of standing water on roadways and minor flooding.
The storm is not over yet, but here are preliminary windđŹď¸ and rain đ§ď¸ reports over the last 24 hour. Strongest winds were reported along the immediate coast, higher terrain, & inland passes.
