MARCUS, Iowa (KTIV) - A boil advisory put into place on Wednesday, Nov. 12, has been lifted as of Thursday morning, Nov. 13.

On Wednesday, Nov. 12, the Marcus Water Supply system lost pressure. Due to potential bacterial contamination at the time, the city of Marcus recommended that citizens boil water before drinking or using it for cooking.

Then Thursday morning, the city announced that the advisory was lifted.
