SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Officials say a man convicted of second-degree robbery has absconded from the state’s work release program.

According to a release, 30-year-old Luis Fernando Lira failed to report back to the Sioux City Residential Treatment Facility as required on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

Lira is described as a 5’9″, Hispanic male, weighing 172 pounds. He was admitted to the work release facility on Aug. 25.

Anyone with information on Lira’s whereabouts is asked to contact local police.
