Moodbidri: The Moodbidri Court has granted bail to the prime accused in a major job fraud case involving promises of overseas employment. The accused had allegedly duped several people from Moodbidri and other parts of Dakshina Kannada district of more than ₹1 crore under the pretext of arranging medical job visas abroad.

The court on Thursday granted bail to Prakruti U., 34, a resident of Bengaluru. Her alleged associate, Alton Rebello, 42, from Church Road, Gangolli in Kundapur, has been remanded to judicial custody after being produced before the court by the police.
