Five low-maintenance indoor plants every home should have to boost wellbeing View Image
Joe Bagley, author of 'How to Make Your Houseplants Love You' and presenter of BBC Gardeners' World Live, has unveiled the top five houseplants that every home should have for improved wellbeing. Aloe Vera tops his list, not only for its low maintenance but also for its potent oxygenating abilities which can enhance sleep and concentration.
Bagley also recommends Indoor Jasmine, which can bloom for several months indoors, releasing a sweet scent used for relaxation and therapy. The Rubber Tree is another favourite, often cited in studies for its air-purifying capabilities.
For those working from home, the Umbrella Tree is the ultimate houseplant, known to alleviate tension and boost productivity.
