Pune, Nov 13: At least eight people have died and more than 20 others injured in a severe accident on Thursday near the Navale bridge on the Pune-Bengaluru highway. The incident involved a collision between two container trucks, which caught fire, and a speeding container subsequently rammed into multiple vehicles, officials reported.

The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals, with several reported in critical condition. Fire Brigade and Police teams quickly arrived to control the blaze, which had engulfed two trucks and a car. Rescue operations are ongoing to remove a car that was crushed and trapped between the containers.
