More Republicans disapprove of President Donald Trump’s handling of the federal government, according to a new poll.
The poll, released Wednesday by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research , shows 32% of Republicans disapprove of Trump’s management of the federal government, up from 19% in March.
Independent voters have also given Trump low marks on the federal government, with 25% expressing approval, down from 38% in March. Only 5% of Democrats approve of Trump’s handling of the issue in November, down from 9% in March.
Trump’s overall approval on the issue stands at 33%, a 10 percentage-point decrease from the firm’s March poll.
His overall job approval is at 36%, a 1 percentage-point decrease from October and a 6 percentage-point drop from March, according to
