The government has ordered a forensic audit of all financial and institutional records of Al Falah University, Haryana, which has come under the scanner following the November 10 Red Fort Metro Station blast that killed 13 people and injured several others.
Sources said the decision was taken after a high-level review meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, which lasted over an hour and examined the progress of the ongoing multi-agency investigation into the attack.
“An order has been issued to conduct a forensic audit of all records of Al Falah University. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and other financial agencies have been directed to trace the institution’s money trail,” a senior official said.
