Mumbai, Nov 13 (UNI) India bowling allrounder Shardul Thakur has been traded to Mumbai Indians from Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
The Mumbai-based cricketer, who was acquired by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 2 crore as an injury replacement in the 18th edition of the league, featured in 10 matches, delivering several valuable allround performances.
As part of the trade agreement, Shardul joins Mumbai Indians for his existing player fee of Rs 2 crore.
Known for his ability to contribute both with the bat and ball, Shardul has built a reputation as a utility player, producing clutch performances for every franchise he has represented in the IPL.
