Julian Edelman welcomes the difficult conversations.
He was one of the only practicing Jews in his football locker rooms over a career of professional and collegiate athletics. Edelman sees the disproportionate amount of antisemitism to the only 15.7 million Jewish people in the world.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said in January that, “46% of the world’s adult population – an estimated 2.2 billion people – harbor deeply entrenched antisemitic attitudes.” That survey result is more than double compared with the ADL’s first worldwide survey a decade ago.
