DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings have struggled to score the past few games, but they can rely on the likes of Dylan Larkin, Alex DeBrincat, Lucas Raymond and Patrick Kane to generate offense.
Problem is, there is a significant drop-off after those top players.
Several players haven’t produced much, and it’s contributed to a three-game losing streak and four losses in five games heading into tonight’s game against the surprising Anaheim Ducks (11-4-1) at Little Caesars Arena (7 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network).
Andrew Copp, Michael Rasmussen, James van Riemsdyk and Elmer Soderblom have just one goal each and 12 points between them. Jonatan Berggren has two goals in 10 games and Marco Kasper hasn’t carried over the strong second half of his rookie season to this year, with just three goals
