Mountain View High School is debuting “Murder on the Orient Express” this week, offering its take on the notorious detective Hercule Poirot and one of his most famous investigations.

The school’s theater department offered students at some of the Thompson School District’s middle schools a special sneak preview of the show Wednesday afternoon ahead of the Thursday premiere.

The play follows the mustachioed detective Poirot, the brainchild of mystery novelist Agatha Christie, as he seeks to unmask a murderer upon a snowbound train to London before the killer can strike again.
