WARREN - A Warren man charged in connection with a child who suffered a gunshot wound to the finger has been indicted.
According to a Trumbull County grand jury report, 23-year-old Nirell Frank was indicted on one third-degree felony count of endangering children.
The charge stems from an incident in September of 2025 when a child arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the finger. A report from the Warren Police Department does not specify what led up to the child being wounded.
Frank is scheduled to be arraigned on this charge on December 2.
In addition, Frank is also facing five second-degree misdemeanor charges of cruelty to companion animals after police said they found five neglected dogs in a home on Prospect Avenue NW.
