A reported three-vehicle crash is causing delays as two lanes on the M5 are closed this evening (Thursday, November 13).
Two lanes of the southbound carriageway are currently closed between junctions 30 and 31 near Exeter.
One witness has told DevonLive: "Crash on M5 [at Exeter].
"Three cars involved".
A video shared with DevonLive shows three cars damaged in the outside lane of the motorway.
National Highways has said: "Lanes 3 & 4 (of 4) are closed on the #M5 in #Devon southbound between J30 and J31 near #Exeter due to a multi-vehicle collision.
"Delays are building on approach, please allow extra time for your journey."
Roads and traffic monitoring site, Inrix, also reports: "Queueing traffic and two lanes closed due to multi-vehicle accident on M5 Southbound from J30 A376 Sidmou
