The Ann Jenson Memorial Community Thanksgiving Dinner, a free Thanksgiving meal and delivery program in Loveland, is seeking volunteers and donations for its 25th annual service on Nov. 27.
The non-profit organization provides more than 800 free Thanksgiving meals each year to any Loveland resident, including veterans, families in need, people experiencing homelessness, or those who are homebound, said Sheila Berg, who has participated in the organization for 15 years and serves on the board of directors.
“It’s a real big community event and everyone who comes seems to really enjoy it,” Berg said. “We have a lot of people who come in the dining room … families and we have individuals who don’t have any other place to go, (they) sit down and visit with everybody.”
The dining room is open
